Before you consider posting an ad to Facebook, there are certain things you need to know about your target audience in order for your ad to be successful. Whether you want your audience to click on a link, enter their email or even buy something, the more correctly targeted your ad is, the better your ad will perform.

Knowing close to, if not all 8 will give you a better understanding of who you are talking to when you are constructing your ad. If you are in a niche long enough, then you will learn all of these PLUS MORE over time. You should strive to be the expert of your target audience.

The more you know about your target audience, the more targeted clicks you will get on your ads (which will cause your ad spend to go down) and the higher conversions you will have (people will essentially do what you are asking them to do).
